It Takes a Village to BUILD. COMMUNITY. TOGETHER.

Raising the necessary funds to restore and expand the historic Elk Rapids District Library requires the time, talents and treasures of people like you who care about the future of our community. Please consider getting involved in one (or more!) of the following ways.

MAKE A GIFT. Your generous support of the library will create a legacy of lifelong learning and community connectedness. Donation information is available here.

HOST a gathering of friends to learn more about the library and the capital campaign. These intimate parties are one of the best ways we know of to help spread the word and build enthusiasm for our library project.

CONNECT us with others who care about the library. The more people we can engage in positive conversation, the more successful the campaign will be. Your introduction to family, friends, neighbors, and business associates helps build the widespread community support necessary for success.

JOIN our Campaign Committee. We are looking for enthusiastic people who like to help plan events, research and write grant proposals, and act as goodwill ambassadors in the community.

PURCHASE tickets to our fall fundraiser focusing on art and literature on Thursday, Sept. 12th.

VOLUNTEER at a Library event. Community events like the Art & Craft Show, Cooking for a Cause or Wednesday Nights on River Street provide an opportunity to promote the library and campaign.

LIKE, FOLLOW and SHARE the Library Facebook page.
